"Being a student leader in IGS exposed me to a community of geriatric professionals who did exactly what I considered my life’s work: impacting the health and well-being of our Indiana older adults everyday—in the real world. My commitment led me to a career as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. I enjoy being a member of IGS because the organization encouraged me as a student and because my membership supports me as a professional with educational opportunities, interprofessional relationships, and community engagement."
